Is it good for a beginner?
It’s on 18 mesh, which has smaller stitches and more detail. It suits stitchers with a project or two behind them. If this is your first canvas, a 13 mesh design is easier to start on.
What thread do I need?
It ships as the canvas only. Most stitchers use DMC Pearl Cotton size 5 (or a few strands of floss) on 18 mesh, and a size 22 tapestry needle.
